My 40+ years as a hands-on builder puts me in the unique position of knowing both what looks beautiful, and how to build it efficiently, economically and sustainably.
I entered into the landscape industry at age 18.
Just eleven years later, in 1994, I opened my own construction firm.
My first large job was at the Upper Montclair Golf Club which magically translated into many new leads in the area. My childhood gardening passions, by then combined with over a decade of field and construction experience, became the perfect blend to attract clients seeking upscale, personalized design and expert implementation.
My construction company, TerraGraphics, grew and thrived in Montclair and surrounding areas for over three decades until its sale in 2020. That same year I launched Landmind, a sister-business that focuses solely on Landscape Design, Consultation and Site Management.
With the inception of Landmind I chose to concentrate my skills on what interests me the most: the ‘vision’ that precedes all ‘shovels-in-the-ground’ construction work.
Today with hundreds of projects in the rear view mirror...
and 40+ year of design and build experience, my true love of the industry has grown and matured to include state of the art design technology plus extensive engineering know-how.
